25% Milestone: Character Sketch and Level 1 Greybox


This week I began production on my capstone project, a 2D platformer action game.  For this milestone I designed the main character, a sword-wielding training robot. I also established their moveset and defined metrics for actions such as the sword attack and dash. I also made a sketch for the first level and implemented a greybox in Unreal Engine.

The next order of business is to program the character's moveset, including a jump, wall jump, sword attack, and forward dash. I would also design and sketch the next few levels before the 50% milestone.
